What's in it for the teens, you ask? Plenty. Our Praise & Worship services are intense, dynamic and spirited. Our Worship Team is comprised of people of all ages. We include children, teenagers, young adults and not-so-young adults. Instruments we currently use include piano, keyboard, drums, clarinet, bass guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, conga drums and tambourines. Some of the songs we sing have a distinctly Rock & Roll edge. We encourage all who have talents to share them with us. We use male & female singers and musicians which adds variety to our sound. We believe all that we do should honor our Creator. Occasionally, the Pastors invite the teenagers to their home for cookouts, volleyball games, basketball games and fellowship with other local Christian teens. Every year in the month of June our teenagers enjoy a week of summer camp at one of our sister churches just 20 minutes away in Berkeley Springs, WV. Word of Deliverance Youth Camp is a week of activities such as volleyball, fishing, basketball, crafts, games, archery, paddle boats and swimming. The campers enjoy 3 balanced meals daily and snacks are made available for purchase to aid in the funding of this FREE week of fun. Activities also include twice daily services where teens are at liberty to share their individual talents and testimonies of God's work in their lives. They also receive their "daily bread" which is the word of God delivered by Counselors and Ministers from across the country. After each evening service snacks are provided near a campfire where the teens may fellowship for a short time. Nightly devotions are held in the dormitories with the counselors. This is an experience your teenager is certain to NEVER forget! It's a life changing experience for the kids and the staff.
